This project explores how complex educational principles can be translated into clear and engaging models. Using metaphors like the flower, an umbrella, and the globus a shared visual language was developed to make Friskolen Skallerups thematic teaching easier to understand and communicate.

Friskolen Skallerup is organised in three age-based learning communities: Mælkevejen, Karlsvognen, and Nordlys. Each group received its own learning model, presented across three tailored posters designed specifically for students, teachers, and parents.

Each model illustrates the relationship between theme, subject, discipline, process, and method, showing how learning emerges in the intersection between knowledge, reflection, and action. The illustrations and iconography align with the school’s visual identity, ensuring a cohesive look.
