Guided by Niels Hausgaard, Os Der Lever portrays life along the raw and beautiful North Jutland coast - exploring life’s big and small questions. With the Aalborg Symphony Orchestra’s grand soundscape and Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse as a guiding landmark, the film offers a poetic glimpse into those of us who live in the wild west.

In the process, we talked a lot about the film’s many stories and moods, and how they could be captured in one image. The result is a fully hand-drawn piece, where the aesthetics balance dreamlike softness in the linework and colours with the strength of the layout and raw motif of Rubjerg Knude and the coastline.

The characters is drawn as individual images, allowing them to easily be used in various promo material.
